Location of Conference Venue

 

The conference will be held in a teaching block called Yasumoto International Academic Park (YIA), situated on the main campus of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). There is direct access from "University" Station Exit D of the MTR.

**Note: Three exits at University Station provide access to the CUHK campus (Exit A, C and D). The closest exit to Conference Venue - Yasumoto International Academic Park is Exit D.

From Airport to University Station

1. By Taxi

The trip from the airport to the CUHK campus is approximately 45 minutes with a fare of around HK$300. Most taxi drivers in Hong Kong understand some English. The following text (English and Chinese) may be shown to the driver:

2. By Airport Bus and Taxi/MTR train

First take Airport Bus route number A41 from the airport to Shatin Station. The bus runs every 20 minutes from 06:00 to 24:00. The Shatin Central Bus Terminal Stop is not the final stop of the bus, so please pay attention to the display/ announcement. The bus ride takes 65–70 minutes depending on traffic conditions. The fare is HK$22.3, payable on boarding bus (no change provided).

Then, from Shatin Station, continue by: 

*either Taxi
From Shatin Station, take a taxi to the University. The fare is about HK$50. It takes about 10-15 minutes.

*or MTR train (not recommended if you have bulky luggage)
From Shatin Station, take the MTR train to the University Station (2 stops from Shatin). The trains run every 3 to 10 minutes from 05:35 to 00:38. The train ride takes about 8 minutes. The fare is HK$4.5.

 

3. By Airport Express and Taxi/MTR Train

First take Airport Express from the airport to Tsing Yi Station which takes about 14 minutes and costs HK$60. The Airport Express runs from every 10 minutes from 05:45 to 00:48.

Then, from Tsing Yi Station, continue by: 

*either Taxi

From Tsing Yi Station, take a taxi to the University. The fare is about HK$150. It takes about 30-35 minutes.


*or MTR train (not recommended if you have bulky luggage)
From Tsing Yi Station, take the MTR train to the University Station (12 stops from Tsing Yi). The trains run every 4 to 12 minutes from 05:59 to 23:56. The train ride takes about 43 minutes. The fare is HK$14.
