Registration Fees

Registration for Regular Participants

Early Bird Registration Period (Before 31 March 2017 (Friday))

After Early Bird Registration Period (From 1 April 2017 (Saturday) - 30 April 2017 (Sunday))

Important Notes for Regular Participants

  • All presenters and audience are required to register and pay appropriate registration fees in order to participate in any capacity at the conference. Please note that at least one author from each paper must register in order to be listed in the final conference program. If other co-authors intend to attend the conference, they will have to pay the registration fees separately.
  • All regular participants must wear their name badge at all time to gain access to conference activities.

 

Registration for Accompanying Persons

Fees for Accompanying Persons

  • Registration Fee (For a spouse or child (of 12 years or older)): HK$1,872
    Note: It provides access to all conference sessions, lunches and tea breaks. Dinner is not included because of insufficient capacity. Registration fee is required to be settled on-site.

Important Notes for Accompanying Persons

  • An accompanying person is a spouse or child (of 12 years or older) of a registered participant who is not working in any Economics related occupation/field. A colleague, associate or student working in an Economics related field should register as a regular participant rather than as an accompanying person.
  • Children under 12 years old are not allowed to enter conference venues.

Letter of Invitation which serves as supporting document for your visa application (if applicable). If you need a Letter of Invitation for your visa application, please send an email to 2017AMES@cuhk.edu.hk with indicating your full name, affiliation, and the ID and title of your accepted paper.

For Audience

Refunds and Cancellations
  • Registrations cancelled before 30 April 2017 will be refunded 50% of the registration fees.
  • Registrations cancelled on or after 1 May 2017 will not be eligible for a refund.

Please note:

  • Refund or cancellation notification must be made by email (2017AMES@cuhk.edu.hk).
  • Refund payments will be made to the same credit card.
Reminder

About accommodation

Participants are required to make their own arrangements for accommodation. The hotels listed in our website have reserved some rooms at privileged rates solely for the participants of 2017 Asian Meeting of the Econometric Society. Participants are welcome to take advantage of these privileged rates in attending the conference, but please note that these privileged rates are not necessarily the lowest possible rates.

The room availability is on a first-come-first-served basis. Rooms fill up quickly, conference attendees are strongly advised to make their reservations as early as possible to secure accommodations and these special room rates.
