ECON1310/UGEC1825 CURRENT HK ECONOMIC ISSUES

This course introduces students with no economics background to various aspects of the Hong Kong economy, such as trade, industries, logistics, housing and real estate, banking and finance, the monetary system and linked exchange rate, public finance, employment, inflation, income distribution and the China-Hong Kong economic relationship. Well-known experts from the financial sector and governmental organizations will be invited to analyse the latest information and discuss some of the above economic issues and development. (Not for students who have taken ECON2311, ECON3380 or UGEC1825.)
